Here are just a few examples of our bespoke gates before, during and after the manufacturing process.

 Before & After Project 1

Lancashire Gates were asked to inject new life into the side entrance of this property.  As you can see from pic 1 there was an existing softwood gate, painted white.  The owners were happy with the style of this gate and after viewing are single gates catalogue decided they wanted it replacing with a similar hardwood version and selected our Levers design.

Iroko was chosen for this particular gate.  Iroko is a stable wood suited to the British climate, resistant to bending, compressions and hits, due to it's elasticity, and has properties very similar to teak.  pic 2 & pic 3 show front and rear of the gate during the manufacturing process ready to receive treatment of natural tung nut oil, which is durable, highly water resistant and after several applications leaves a soft delicate finish that beautifully enhances the natural grain characteristics of Iroko.

After completion our customers were contacted and a mutually convenient time was arranged for installation.  Pic 4 the finished Levers gate front & pic 5, rear.  Finishing touches are a final coat of tung nut oil and the fastening of our Lancashire Gates brass plaque.
